Our commitment

Rentals Inc. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice’s 2024 web accessibility rule — across our public website, including rental listings, search, forms, and the rental assistant chat.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with skip links, landmarks, and a logical heading outline on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, and focus management in dialogs, drawers, and carousels.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, captions and transcripts for video, and reduced-motion alternatives for animation.
  • Text and interactive components that meet WCAG contrast minimums, with form fields that identify errors to assistive technology.
  • Live-region announcements for dynamic updates such as search results and chat messages.

Known limitations

  • Interactive maps are provided by third-party services (Google Maps and OpenStreetMap/Leaflet) and may not fully conform. Every listing shown on a map is also available in the side-by-side list view, which is the fully accessible alternative.

Assessment approach

This site is evaluated through a combination of automated testing, manual keyboard-only navigation passes, and review against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria. We re-assess after significant design or content changes.
